This comprehensive online course is designed for horse owners and equestrian facility personnel.

Topics include:

  • How to prepare an emergency plan for your horse, family, home, and barn.
  • How to perform a physical exam on your horse
  • Common equine medical emergencies
  • First aid care for the horse

There are hundreds of photographs to help illustrate life-saving techniques, PDF files for writing your plan and supply checklists for your emergency preparedness kits. Videos on specific bandaging are being added to the course content.

Externship For The Course:

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will then move to the externship. It is completed at home like all of our courses to assure you understand the course content and practice your skills. It is a visual presentation of your practicing the course guidelines and demonstrating bandaging skills. Once you successfully complete the externship, a certificate of completion will be sent to you.

This course is a requirement for the EEBWIII certification.

This course is required for EEBW Level III certification

To complete the EEBW Level III certification, you must have passed the Equinology ® Equine Body Worker Certification Course and completed the Level II courses, EQ900 and EQ103.
