We are hoping that the classroom will be ready at this site in time for our June courses. We will be able to host both the equine and canine courses here. We will know one way or the other by March 2008 at the latest. If by chance, it is not complete, we will use the facility in Murrieta, Southern CA. Please check those location details to make sure they will work for you in case we do have to change locations.

Driving Directions from Orange County Airport ( John Wayne Airport ): You can use these same directions from LAX and Long Beach . To find a route without the toll road please visit: www.mapquest.com:

1: Start out going NORTHEAST on AIRPORT WAY . <0.1 miles

 2: Turn SLIGHT LEFT toward BAGGAGE CLAIM/ARRIVING FLIGHTS/RENTAL

     CAR RETURN. 0.7 miles

 3: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto AIRPORT WAY . 0.1 miles

 4: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto MICHELSON DR. <0.1 miles

 5: Turn LEFT onto MACARTHUR BLVD. 0.1 miles

 6: Merge onto I-405 S toward SAN DIEGO . 5.5 miles

 7: Merge onto CA-133 N (Portions toll). 5.1 miles

 8: Merge onto CA-241 S toward SANTA MARGARITA (Portions toll). 9.5 miles

 9: Take the ANTONIO PKWY exit. 0.3 miles

TOLL BOOTHS/ROAD CONSTRUCTION/COMMUNITY EVENTS:

 

Any of the above could be a possibility while traveling to the course site. Equinology will inform participants in advance should any of the above effect traveling and/or lodging. Best to keep several dollars in quarters with you for toll fees. If you are traveling on the CA241 the toll is $2.50. Once you reach the site after the first day we can probably figure out a way for you to avoid the toll.

 

While class is in session several breaks are provided throughout the day, with an hour for lunch. Coffee, tea, water and snacks are provided during the day. (Best to bring your own lunch. Refrigeration will be provided.) Several grocery stores, delis and restaurants are a short distance from the site. There are occasions when a class may run over so please do not plan to leave early.
